Es gibt während der Arbeiten an einer
Figur, wenn sie gelingt, einen besonderen
Moment, ein Erwachen quasi, wenn eine
Plastik beginnt, eine eigene unabhängige
Identität zu bekommen.
Gleichzeitig bleibt sie ein Teil von mir,
der aus dem Unbewussten tritt und mich
anschaut.
When a figure is being made, there is a
special moment if it is successful, a kind
of awakening, when a sculpture begins to
adopt its own independent identity.
At the same time, it remains a part
of me, stepping outside the unconscious
world and looking at me.
